Vaillancourt energy efficient glass (double or triple)

Our energy efficient glass is equipped with a microscopic metallic film. In addition, an inert gas (argon) is added between the glass panels to preserve interior heat in winter and coolness in summer.

More than just helping relieve condensation issues, energy efficient glass offers unmatched performance and substantial savings.

Choice of exterior sash

You can choose between a colonial-style exterior sash offering a more classic design with the double groove or a contemporary-style exterior sash offering a modern design look with the flat sash.

Tilt opening towards the exterior

The tilt opening system allows for bottom opening towards the outside. Though the window can never be completely open, it still offers excellent ventilation with an opening that is wider than it is high and also offers protection from the rain.

Scissor-action lever operator (crank)

The scissor-action lever crank is designed for easy, effortless window opening.

Single-point end locks

Made with two stainless steel latches, the single point end locks offer strength and superior durability for your added security.

Strong screen

Screens offer a simple mounting system that is easy to clean. Manufactured in fiber glass, they are strong and tight. Screen frames are made of enamelled aluminium.

Three all-PVC frames

Three multi-chamber frames made entirely of PVC: 4 1/2", 5 5/8" and 5 5/8" with mouldings integrated into the frame. Five different exterior moulding options available.

Gasket seal

Invisible gasket seal around the sealed glass, both interior and exterior.

Vaillancourt exclusive: reinforced galvanized steel and durable PVC

Our 12" galvanized steel and PVC profiles tighten the mechanism anchors for superior strength and durability.

Double or triple glazing

Standard double 7/8" glazing with non-conductive spacers on the edges. Option of triple 1 1/4" glazing that greatly improves energy performance.

Triple weatherstripping

Flexibility is what makes this weatherstripping perfectly sealed. Awning window systems are comprised of 3 weatherstrips made of two flexible PVC bulb seals and one brush. They are all interchangeable, if necessary, and are black to avoid discolouration.
